Who We Are

Paws South Rescue is a Ft. Lauderdale based all-volunteer animal welfare group that works to help eliminate the cycle of over-population of the cat species. Our mission is to practice the best principles of TNR (trapping, neutering and return) within our feral cat communities. We adhere to the guidelines of Alley Cat Allies while also rescuing all adoptable adult cats or kittens we find and placing them in our foster care network where they are held without exception until adoption.

We are working to solve the unique problems in South Florida. All donations are appreciated.

If you are looking to surrender your pet.

Please understand that we are not a shelter. Cats and kittens that we find in our TNR field work are transferred to another local agency. We do not hold animals in our care for adoption and we do not accept surrenders under any circumstances.
